Introduction
I believe that my ministry lays in a different area from where my skills lay. God has gifted me with skills in computers, but it feels as if God has called me to work specifically with people and in people oriented areas for him. My first priority is to God, and my next is to people and the development of people.
I therefore see two areas for the use of my computer skills in the lives that we have chosen for ourselves.
- To maintain personal web-based products in an attempt to generate ongoing income to help finance our other ministry's.
- To produce web-based products to minister to people over the Internet. I see this as an opportunity to create services for other Web Sites to make use of, rather than me trying to run a large number of websites and ministries.
Although I would prefer to work on projects that serve one of these two purposes, I am not excluding myself from one-off work for other organisations.
HeyDan Development is the identity that I work under on the Internet. HeyDan Development has been involved in a number of projects over the years, the largest current project being CBD-Search, a Christian Resource Directory.
I have a lot of new ideas of services that I would like to produce, but the funds to start these, and support my family, while still allowing me time to be involved in people-based ministries has delayed many of these from beginning.
